During the program “Graphics in volume” lessons we study the speciality and peculiarity of positioning the image and graphical composition in the third dimension. Such type of painting surrounds us in the real life, city and nature environment. That is different animal, insects, plants coloring, archetectire construction and commercial media painting, interiors, packages and cloth pattern coloring. Means of transportation are the perfect graphics object – buses, trains, airplanes, trucks and cars, motorbikes. In all these cases color and graphics interact with forms, where they are put on and bare a certain information and esthetics meaning.
At our lessons we discuss the main laws of their interactions and their variations. Study the potential of color graphics and spheres of application. We study the illustrative matter beforehand. We discuss the role of coloring in the wild nature, it’s function: protection, scaring, attracting attention… We analyze possibilities of color-graphics in architecture and design: proportioning, outlining and indention of particular details and constructions, deviding the whole volume in parts, connection with landscape and environment or detachment from them, it’s emotional impact.
Completing the tasks of the program, children study potential of used graphical methods and their influence on volume forms perception in practice. The forms optically become clenched or spread out Depending on the type of graphics and coloring, become light or heavy, warm or cold, get depraved, masquerade or structurally are stressed out.
As a basis for the most of our tasks we use a geometrical object - the cube. One can visibly watch all kinds of interaction of color-graphics on volume form perception on the example of the cube. Also other geometrical objects can be used – tetrahedron, pyramids, cylinders, parallelepipeds.
Children get acquainted with the meaning of developing the view of geometrical object, get knowledge about two dimensions drawings and volume forms that go out of them, they learn to develop the image view in such a way that it coincided when collected, but the main this is that they study different approaches to the graphical composition of volume form, paying attention on perception changing depending on the point of view.
